UGANDA
The first experience
This video captures my first unforgettable journey to Uganda with Lex Griffin, where we immersed ourselves in the beauty, culture, and resilience of the local communities. This experience profoundly inspired me to create an opportunity for others to share in this life-changing adventure. Now, I’m taking ten people on a journey to discover the same magic, connection, and growth that moved me to start this new chapter.
Discover a Life-Changing Experience in the Heart of Uganda
Immerse yourself in the breathtaking beauty of Uganda's mountains and embark on a journey that will transform not just your perspective but your soul. Our retreat offers a rare opportunity to live among villagers, experience their vibrant culture, and give back to the community, all while embracing a simpler, more mindful way of life.
A Unique Adventure Awaits
Cultural Immersion
Spend a week in Uganda's picturesque villages, living side by side with the locals. Experience their daily lives through activities like dancing, singing, drumming, and learning their traditions. This is more than just a trip—it’s a chance to truly connect with a way of life untouched by the rush of the modern world.
Meet the Batwa Tribe
One of the most unforgettable moments of the retreat is the opportunity to visit a remote tribe that lives in harmony with nature, far removed from the Western world. You’ll step into their world, experiencing their culture, energy, and community firsthand. Together, we’ll learn about their traditions, join in their vibrant dancing, and witness their unique way of life deep in the jungle.
You’ll also see how they build their homes and contribute to a meaningful cause—raising funds to help construct a home for one of the families in the tribe. This experience offers a chance to connect on a deeper level as we share time with the parents and children, offer aid, and even share a meal together.
It’s more than a visit—it’s a rare opportunity to be part of their community, creating lasting memories and making a difference.
Charity and Community
You’ll visit a local school, meet the children, and take part in community-driven charity work made by NECS
(Nkuringo Education and Charity Support) helping to deliver much-needed aid to schoolchildren and reforming ex-poachers. You’ll also spend a day with the remarkable Batwa tribe, learning how they live harmoniously with nature in the lush forests. This experience will open your eyes to a deeper appreciation of life and a sense of gratitude for the things we often take for granted.
Teach the children
You’ll have the chance to interact with the schoolchildren, and if you wish, you can even deliver a lesson on any topic you’re passionate about. The children are eager to learn about the Western world—a place they’ve only heard about but have never experienced. Sharing your experiences with them creates a special connection, and for some, it will be their first glimpse into a world beyond their village. For myself, I once delivered a meditation class accompanied by an inspiring talk about belief. Witnessing the enthusiasm and passion of the children deeply touched my heart and inspired me to create this retreat. Their drive to grow and achieve greatness in their lives continues to fill me with passion for this work.
Mindfulness & Connection
This retreat is designed to help you detach from the Western world’s fast pace and constant connection to technology. It’s a rare chance to fully live in the moment, surrounded by nature and free from the pressures of time and money. As part of the mindfulness experience, we will also participate in guided meditation practices at a breathtaking location known as "Top of the World." Here, you’ll witness stunning views of volcanoes and the sunrise over the mountains while sitting with the local children in a shared meditation practice. This serene moment of stillness will allow you to be in awe of the beauty surrounding you.

“TOP OF THE WORLD”
In addition, we will engage in team-building exercises designed to foster reflection and personal growth. Together, we’ll work as a team, observe our own egos, and explore when it’s time to surrender. These reflective practices will help you discover more about yourself, providing space for internal growth and a deeper connection with others. You’ll return home with a refreshed mindset, a heart full of gratitude, and a newfound appreciation for life’s simpler joys.
Optional Adventures
For those seeking extra thrills, gorilla tracking is an optional activity that comes with additional costs, where you’ll have the chance to encounter silverbacks and their families in their natural jungle habitat.
All-Inclusive, Immersive Experience
Your accommodation, food, and water are all included, so there’s no need to worry about additional expenses. While the lodging is simple, remember that this is part of the experience—living more comfortably than most of the villagers yet with the chance to embrace their lifestyle. It’s a far cry from five-star luxury, but it offers something much more valuable: authenticity and connection.
